King VisionA® Ablade Video Laryngoscope Ambu Danmark
Visionary performance in the palm of your hand. When it comes to visualising the airway for routine or difficult intubations, you need a tool that you can depend on each and every time. King Vision® aBlade is designed for indirect visualisation of the vocal cords which minimise the need for tissue manipulation and improve the ability to see anterior airways. King Vision® aBlade comes with the choice of two blade types that allow users to keep their preferred technique in terms of tube delivery, offering a unique flexibility.
King Vision® aBlade video laryngoscope
The King Vision® aBlade video laryngoscope offers advanced imaging technology and unparalleled ergonomic design. In addition, it features the unique flexibility from the choice of two blade types – standard and channeled so you can choose what is right for you and your patient. Depending on your preferred technique and the complexity of the airway the King Vision has two blade types. A standard blade that requires the use of a stylet to direct the ET tube with a 13 mm mouth opening requirement. The other choice is a channeled blade where you can guide the ET tube with the blade where the mouth opening requirement is 18 mm. The channeled blade accommodates ET tube between 6.0 – 8.5 mm.
The King Vision video laryngoscope provides a high quality image of the vocal cords while minimizing soft tissue manipulation.

A laryngoscope is an instrument used to examine the larynx. Laryngoscope blades are used as the primary tool for examination of the interior of the larynx and for placement of an endotracheal tub.
The Miller Laryngoscope Blade . . . The most popular of the straight types. The side of the flange is reduced to minimize trauma and the curve at the beak or tip is extended to improve lifting of the epiglottis. These improvements facilitate greater exposure of the larynx in difficult-to-intubate patients.
The Macintosh Laryngoscope Blade . . . The Macintosh is the predominate model of the curved blade types. During laryngoscopy, the tip or beak of the blade is compressed into the angle formed by the base of the tongue and the epiglottis, indirectly raising the epiglottis. Some sizes are available flangeless. Also available is a die-stamped or one-piece construction blade with a slightly expanded flange.
